Ami Chitalia, MD, Assistant Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine. I am a breast medical oncologist with fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine. My clinical focus is breast medical oncology. My research interests include therapeutic clinical trials, survivorship, patient-related outcomes, and trainee education. I serve as PI for several cooperative group studies and pharma-sponsored therapeutic clinical trials using novel therapies for breast cancer. I have also developed and led a communication curriculum for hematology-oncology and palliative care trainees on discussing goals of care, symptom management and end-of-life issues with cancer patients.
