Amanda Appel MD, MPH is a 5th year combined General Pediatrics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident at Children’s Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado. She attended medical school at the University of California, Davis and received her Master of Public Health in Global Health Systems Management from Tulane University. She is dedicated to the holistic care of children, adolescents, and young adults with congenital and acquired disabilities with an emphasis on functional ability and improving quality of life. She is also passionate about providing and advocating for adequate and appropriate comprehensive sexual health education for people with disabilities and medical complexity.
