Matthew Sherrier, MD

Matthew Sherrier M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. His practice focuses on the non-surgical management of sports medicine and spine conditions, joint disorders, and tendon disorders. He specializes in the application of musculoskeletal ultrasound, non-operative interventional spine care, and electrodiagnostics. He completed his residency in PM&R at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he served as chief resident, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, IL. He currently serves as a team phycian for the South Carolina Stingrays and works as a travel team physcian for the U.S. Men's Cerebral Palsy National Soccer Team.
