Samuel Chu, MD is an attending physician at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and an assistant professor at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (currently Shirley Ryan AbilityLab). He is the program director for the Sports Medicine fellowship and one of the associate program directors for the PM&R Residency at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center/Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. He teaches musculoskeletal ultrasound nationally and currently serves as the Co-Course Director for AAPM&R Step One Ultrasound Course. He has particular interests in musculoskeletal ultrasound, simulation-based teaching and medical education.
