Alan K. Novick, MBA, MD

Dr. Alan Novick received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Duke University in 1983 and an M.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1987. He recieved an executive MBA from the University of Miami in 2019. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University-McGaw Medical Center in 1988 and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in 1991. Since completing his residency, Dr. Novick has practiced in South Florida and has served in a variety of leadership roles in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. He was the Rehabilitation Medical Director for the Memorial Healthcare System and the Memorial Rehabilitation Institute from 2001 until August 2021 after serving in the same role from 1991 thru 1994. Dr. Novick served as the Chief of Staff at Memorial Regional Hospital from May 2016 thru April 2019. Dr. Novick has served the Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in several different roles but currently is the Chair of the AAPM&R Registry Neuro-Rehabilitation Workgroup. Dr. Novick recently started as Medical Director-PM&R for New York Life Insurance.
