Dr. Jasmine Zheng currently serves as Director of Penn Medicine's Cancer Rehabilitation Program, Director of the Cancer Rehabilitation Fellowship, and is a provider in Penn's Center for Lymphatic Disorders. She completed her medical training at Georgetown University and went on to receive her residency training at University of Michigan, where she began developing a passion for cancer rehabilitation, a specialty in the field of rehabilitation medicine aimed to maximize and restore a person's physical, social, psychological, and vocational functioning through the cancer care continuum. After residency, she became an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Pennsylvania, where she has grown the cancer rehabilitation practice and helped begin Penn's first cancer rehabilitation fellowship. She received her certification as a lymphedema therapist and collaborates closely with the Good Shepherd Penn Partners Oncology-Lymphedema Team and sees patients for cancer and cancer-related treatment issues, and cancer and non-cancer related lymphedema. She has given talks regionally, nationally, and internationally on topics such as cancer rehabilitation care and lymphedema.
