Christine Greiss, D.O., is board certified in physiatry and brain injury medicine. She is a clinical associate professor for both Robert Wood Johnson medical school, and the Hackensack School of Medicine. She serves as medical director of the Concussion program at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. She manages the acute inpatient stroke rehabilitation unit where she is actively involved in training residents and medical students. In the outpatient setting she provides a multidisciplinary treatment plan for concussion patients in a robust clinical setting.
Administratively, she sits on the steering committee of the Stroke Recovery Program at Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. She serves as the medical Director of the CARF committee for both Stroke and Concussion disciplines. She is heavily involved with research and academics and has co-authored many chapters including the chapter, “Neuropharmacology in Acute TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury)” in Critical Care TBI, amongst many others. She serves as medical advisor for the annual concussion symposium of Johnson Rehabilitation Institute of Hackensack University. She also authored publications in the Journal of Critical Care and Journal of Neuromuscular Disorders. Outside of the academic and clinical setting she is an active member of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey, the Concussion League, and medical advisory board of New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance.
She serves as medical advisor for the annual concussion symposium of Johnson Rehabilitation Institute of Hackensack University.
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, spending quality time with her husband, and three children, hiking, reading, and playing piano.
