Mooyeon Oh-Park, MD, MS, Burke Rehabilitation Hospital’s Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, oversees the Burke’s operations in patient care, education, and research. Dr. Oh-Park is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Sports Medicine and a Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Department of Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her expertise is rehabilitation of older adults from master athletes to frail individuals. She also plays a key role in strategic planning and expansion of Burke’s programs and rehabilitation services within Montefiore Health System for post-acute care sector for value based practice and population health. She is a fellow of the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) by Drexel University for Montefiore Health System. Since joining Burke in April 2018, she melded her academic background with healthcare operation improving the hospital quality metrics to the competitive level, expanding graduate medical education programs, and creating several innovative treatment and research programs. She received 15 teaching awards with 50 peer reviewed publications. She serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of PM&R and Annals of Rehabilitation Medicine.
