Shelby Halsey, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in neurobiology and received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2014. She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2018. She subsequently pursued a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at Harvard Medical School / Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, which she completed in June 2019. She joined the faculty of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in September 2019. Dr. Halsey is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) and is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
