Shawn Jorgensen, MD is a partner at Adirondack Rehabilitation Medicine in upstate NY, and a Clinical Professor at Albany Medical College and Adjunct Professor at the Robert Larney School of Medicine at the University of Vermont. After completing the combined 7 year medical program through Union and Albany Medical College, he stayed at Albany Medical College for his residency in Physical Medical and Rehabilitation. He is board certified in electrodiagnostics, neuromuscular medicine and sports medicine. He is also certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound by the APCA and AAPM&R, and holds the neuromuscular ultrasound CAQ through the ABEM. His main clinical interests are in electrodiagnostics and neuromuscular medicine, sports and musculoskeletal medicine, and new ways to integrate diagnostic ultrasound into all of these areas of the field of PM&R.
