Alexander Turfe D.O, Resident, Wayne State University-Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

I am currently completing my PGY-4 year as our programs Chief Resident. I enjoy musculoskeletal medicine and the mix of inpatient and outpatient settings that physiatry offers. Training at the Detroit Medical Center allows me to see a wide variety of cases and pathologies across all specialties. As a large hospital system within an urban center, at the DMC, we often see cases that others may only come across in textbooks.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends. We enjoy fishing, traveling, and good food. We are constantly trying new restaurants in Detroit. I am also an avid fan of Detroit sports and Michigan football.
