Angeli Mayadev, MD

Director- Rehab Medicine
Swedish Neuroscience Institute

Dr. Mayadev MD is a rehabilitation physician who specializes in the treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). After completing MS fellowship, she has worked at the MS Center at Swedish Neuroscience for 12 years. The MS Center is multidisciplinary, and has an onsite rehab gym, PT, OT, Voc rehab, a wellness program, along side 4 MS neurology colleagues. Getting more PM&R care in the field of MS has been a focus, as there is a need in the field.
Her clinical interests include improving mobility of patients, electrodiagnosis, musculoskeletal rehabilitation (in the setting of neurologic disease), orthotic prescription, spasticity management, and MS medical care of progressive MS.
Research interests include spasticity and walking issues in the setting of multiple sclerosis, wellness in multiple sclerosis, and MS clinical trials. She leads a weekly relaxation breathing techniques class for the MS wellness program.
