Luis Jorge Jacinto, MD leads a 68 bed, multiprofessional, adult neuro-rehabilitation service and is head of the Botulinum Toxin Clinics and the Gait Analysis Laboratory at Centro de Medicina de Reabilitação de Alcoitão, Alcabideche – Portugal.

Professor Jacinto is actively involved in research, peer training and publications on: neuro-rehabilitation, botulinum toxin, movement/gait analysis, patient centered goals, outcomes in PM&R, robotic management in PM&R. He has co-authored the book “Advanced Technologies for the Rehabilitation of Balance and Gait Disorders”– Springer 2018. He is member of the Board of PM&R of the Ordem dos Médicos de Portugal (National College of Physicians).
