Dr. Ngo-Huang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation, and Integrative Medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). She is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who completed a Cancer Rehabilitation fellowship at MD Anderson. Her clinical and research interests include: exercise for cancer patients, the rehabilitation needs of patients with undergoing stem cell transplantation, and neurological-based rehabilitation. She is a principal investigator of a multi-disciplinary, NIH-funded randomized trial of prehabilitation for patients with pancreatic cancer and is the director of the clinical prehabilitation program at MDACC. Dr. Ngo-Huang is a strong advocate of the advancement of cancer rehabilitation with work with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Cancer Rehabilitation Physician Consortium, the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and with the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer.
