Alex Schumaker, MD is a fourth-year resident physician at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He completed his undergraduate education at Albion College and received bachelor’s degrees in the fields of biology and mathematics. He then completed his medical school training at Wayne State University School of Medicine. His interests within the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation include acute and chronic management of spinal cord injury along with electrodiagnostic testing. He is pursuing a fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine.
