Nicholas C. Elwert, DO, MS is a current PGY-3 resident at the University of Kentucky, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department and is currently serving as the Administrative Chief Resident for the 2019-2020 academic year. His current interests include Neurorehabilitation, with an empahsis on spasticity management, along with outpatient musculoskeletal medicine with a particular focus on orthobiologics. He plans to pursue a carrer in academic medicine.
He graduated from Wilmington College with a B.S. in Biology and completed his osteopathic medical traning at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also holds a Masters degree in Anatomical Sciences from Lincoln Memorial University after completion of a pre-doctoral fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine and anatomical sciences.
