Altamash Raja, DO, RMSK, CSCS is an Assistant Professor at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Associate Program Director for the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program at Inspira Health Network. His expertise includes non-operative management of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, including joint, tendon, ligament, spine, and muscle disorders. His clinical interests include the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic and interventional purposes, including orthobiologic injections (platelet rich plasma and prolotherapy), and advanced ultrasound-guided procedures (percutaneous needle tenotomies, tendon scraping and nerve hydrodissections). As a former performance coach, Dr. Raja’s expertise also includes providing comprehensive exercise prescriptions and nutritional counseling for improving overall health. From a research perspective, he is interested in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, exercise physiology, nutrition, and the science of longevity.
