Jake Portillo, MD, is a Resident Physician at Northwestern Medicine - Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, IL. He is currently in his third year of postgraduate training with an aim to pursue fellowship in sports/interventional spine medicine. He is originally from Texas, having completed medical school at Texas A&M University and internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX, before traveling north to the Chicagoland area for residency training, where he now resides with his wife and two dogs.
