Armando Salonga Miciano MD, Physiatrist and Medical Director of Nevada Rehabilitation Institute, Las Vegas NV. Dr. Miciano trained in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston TX and in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Washington DC. He directs the outpatient rehabilitation center focusing on geriatric syndromes and tertiary specialist outpatient service for adults with severe complex musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, such as spine and acquired brain injuries. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPMR) and served as past chair of the AAPMR Clinical Practice Guideline committee. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals about functional outcomes after injuries.
