Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellow
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
My name is Francis Eusebio, and I am a pediatric rehabilitation medicine fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I am pursuing a career in helping children and their families address impairments to enjoy a full life. As a fellow, I am inspired daily by the growth and abilities of children with disability. So many of these children benefit from the expertise of a physiatrist to improve function and quality of life. In the rehab medicine clinic, a pediatric physiatrist can discuss the problems of patients and families such as spasticity, dystonia, hypotonia, weakness, pain, aphasia, cognitive impairment, problems with bowel and bladder or with vision and hearing. I work with parents to address these problems (and others) with therapy, bracing, medication, procedures, and finding the right resource, so that children have the ability do what they need and want to do.
