Michael Juszczak, MD is a PM&R Resident at Tower Health’s Reading Rehabilitation Hospital in West Reading, PA. Prior to attending medical school he worked in the Department of Research at Rusk Rehabilitation in New York City from 2014-2018 where he assisted with research related to people living with SCI, TBI, and lower limb amputation. He has presented research at multiple national conferences including AAP, AAPM&R, and ACRM. He has previously published research examining the impact of powered exoskeletons on secondary impairments in people living with chronic SCI. His research interests include limiting secondary impairments and improving functional outcomes following SCI. He is currently a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Scientist Training Program (RMSTP). After completing his residency training, he will be pursing fellowship training in Spinal Cord Injury with aspirations of becoming an academic physiatrist.
