‘Widening the door’ on QI opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop additional pertinent QI project templates. Align requirements with diplomates’ daily practices and required activities that may be required by hospitals, health systems, payers and other groups in order to reduce diplomate burden and allow their required improvement activities to apply to multiple purposes. By providing specialty societies with our gaps in knowledge through our certification process, we may benefit from collaboration and guidance. Also, provide an understanding of what the focus will be going forward after the new ABMS Continuing Certification Standards go into effect on January 1, 2024.

Discuss the currently available options to meet continuing certification requirements for Improving Health and Health Care.
