Residency and fellowship programs aim to provide comprehensive training, focusing on fundamental core objectives, but rarely (if ever), cover every niche area within the field.

Moreover, it is not uncommon for trainees to have interests beyond the clinical and procedural aspects of their training in research, advocacy, or entrepreneurship. This raises the question: How do we fill these gaps between training and interests?

In this session, we will explore strategies to bridge potential gaps in residency and fellowship training, addressing both clinical and non-clinical aspects at different stages of one's career.

By delving into these topics, we aim to create a space for discussion and collaboration, empowering participants to actively seek opportunities that complement their training.

To identify ways to incorporate areas of interest at different career stages
