This session will discuss the most influential papers in the field of pediatric rehabilitation in the past year and review implications for clinical care based on new publications within the field. The presenters will methodically perform a systematic review of articles published and present the top six articles in a robust format. The other highly rated manuscripts that are not presented will be included for attendee reference. Web-links to the papers presented will be available for attendees to access before, during, and after the conference to promote further discussion. The primary goal of this session is to present research in the most clinically impactful way to enhance the ability of providers to evaluate newer journal articles for adoption into their clinical practice.

The main goal of this session is to identify and discuss the main journals published during the last year. The format of this presentation will allow presenters to determine current clinical practices by presenting a short case followed by audience debate. Current research from major rehabilitation and pediatric journals will be highlighted in a case-based setting. By attending this presentation, we expect the audience to fill knowledge gaps or deficits from important journals from the last year.

Summarize and discuss the design, methodology, findings, and clinical implications of the most influential papers in pediatric rehabilitation medicine over the past year.
Apply newly learned knowledge to clinical practice.
Discuss case-based vignettes to highlight the changing advances in pediatric rehabilitation medicine with audience response to determine standards of care.
Debate future clinical and research directions in the field.
