William (Bill) Niehaus, MD, is an assistant professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. His current focus is on neuro-rehabilitation and working with patients who have suffered a spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, or stroke. In addition to seeing patients in intensive care and on the rehabilitation unit, he has a twice-weekly outpatient clinic. He is very involved with the CU Denver residency program. Dr. Niehaus is also the co-founder and president of a free clinic for uninsured rehabilitation patients who suffered catastrophic injuries (www.ColoradoRSVPclinic.org) and is the social media editor for a the PM&R journal.
