Argy Stampas, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of PM&R at UTHealth at Houston McGovern Medical School and SCI Medicine Research Director at TIRR Memorial Hermann. At TIRR, Dr. Stampas cares for hundreds of people living with SCI, which drives his research interest in improving their quality of life. Specifically, Dr. Stampas is interested in early interventions to improve outcomes in SCI, from mitigating secondary damage after SCI to preventing the development of aberrant spinal reflexes that lead to morbidity.
