Prabhu D. Tewari, MD

State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University PM&R Program

Originally from Herndon, VA, Prabhu Tewari graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and minor in psychology before completing medical school at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. After completing his preliminary medicine year at Albany Medical Center, he started PM&R residency at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY in July of 2022. Prabhu’s professional interests include SCI and inpatient rehabilitation. He is passionate about evidence-based interdisciplinary clinical practice, effective delivery of medical education, and patient-centric care. In his free time, Prabhu loves playing basketball and running with his dog, Nova.
