Student
University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine
Kevin Stavness is a fourth-year medical student at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. After struggling to find his "path" in life, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University after eight years of undergraduate education. Kevin knew he wanted to go into medicine, and desired to integrate the philosophy of biomechanics and rehabilitation he learned from kinesiology into his practice. Upon discovering Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in medical school, his path was finally, truly visible to him. Kevin has spent the past three years preparing educationally for a career in PM&R, while his volunteer and work experiences have been preparing him for the past seven years for that very same goal.
