His journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree and 3 years of post-graduate basic science research, fueling his drive for medical excellence. Now progressing through the WFUSOM MD Class of 2024, Zack is committed to excelling in the field he's passionate about.
From his early days in medical school, Zack became involved in PM&R research. He quickly became a pivotal force in important projects. As a first-year medical student, he played a crucial role in validating a specialized functional outcome tool for the inpatient rehabilitation setting, showcasing his dedication to enhancing patient care. He further undertook the task of determining the impact of inpatient rehabilitation on the resilience of inpatient rehabilitation patients, highlighting his comprehensive approach to understanding patient well-being.
As he gears up for residency, Zack's passion for clinical research remains unwavering. He aspires to continue his impactful contributions to the PM&R landscape.
