I am originally from Gulf Breeze, Florida. I went to Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana for undergraduate and graduate school where I obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Neuroscience. I attended medical school at A.T. Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
