Mayo Clinic

Shanterian (Shan) King, DO, is a PM&R Sports Medicine Fellow at Mayo Clinic Square in Minneapolis, MN. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota serving as a Chief Resident in her final year. Prior to staring her residency at Mayo Clinic, she completed her transitional year at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. Shan obtained her Bachelor's degree in biology at Dartmouth College, Master's of Science in Preclinical Science at Mercer University and completed medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She remains passionate about adaptive sports, mentoring pre-medical and medical students, and diversity, equity and inclusion within medicine.
