Santiago Espinosa-Salas, MD (he/him/his)

Postdoctoral Fellow
Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine

Dr. Santiago Espinosa-Salas is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas J. Schnitzer, he works in clinical research, specifically focusing on clinical trials related to chronic pain and associated conditions.

A graduate of Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City, Dr. Espinosa-Salas is dedicated to performing research before applying to PM&R through the national residency match.

Outside of the lab, Santiago is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys weightlifting and running. He is also a prolific content creator, sharing evidence-based information on health, wellness, and nutrition with his more than 300,000 social media followers.
