Vy is currently a third-year medical student who is interested in pursuing PM&R. She earned her BS in neuroscience and BA in Hispanic studies at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Prior to medical school, Vy conducted research at the NIH Rehabiliation Medicine Department to study the effectiveness of botulinum toxin on endometriosis-associated chronic pelvic pain. She also worked with a multidisciplinary team of researchers at George Mason University to characterize myofascial pain.
