Marissa Marcotte, M.D. is an Assistant Professor at UW Medicine in Seattle, Washington. She received her B.S. from Seattle University, and M.D. from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL. She completed her intern year at University of Illinois Chicago (UIC)/Advocate Christ in Oak Lawn, IL. She graduated from residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas in 2022. Marissa was first exposed to pelvic rehab as a medical student at Loyola. After residency, she stayed on as faculty at UTSW working in their Comprehensive Pelvic Rehabilitation Program. Currently, she is developing a pelvic rehabilitation program at UW Medicine. In her free time, Marissa enjoys cooking, supporting locally owned restaurants, playing board games, and exploring state/national parks.
