Franchesca Konig, MD

Medical Director of Cancer Rehabilitation Medicine

Dr. Franchesca König is a fellowship trained cancer rehabilitation specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico - Rio Piedras with a BS in Biology and received her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School
of Medicine. She then went on to complete a categorical physiatry residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in Cancer Rehabilitation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and has stayed on board as an attending. As an academic clinician, Dr. König works closely with residents and fellows and currently offers services in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to help patients achieve their best possible function throughout the continuum of their cancer care.
