Erin Kelly, DO is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Cancer Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A PM&R and Palliative Care physician, she graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2017, completed her transitional year at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, PA and went on to complete her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency followed by a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Kelly’s clinical interests include cancer rehabilitation and neurological illnesses that intersect at the treatment options of rehabilitation and palliative care. She recently published a comparative analysis on palliative needs of patients in inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities and is currently working on grant to improve physical activity and function in women with metastatic breast cancer. She hopes to improve access to palliative care for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
