Paul L. Jett, MD, MBA is a community physiatrist with eighteen years of experience caring for patients in East Tennessee and has served Ballad Health for the last ten years as the medical director of the pain management service line as well as medical director of the Center for Post-Covid Care for the last three years. He also serves in a part time role at his local VA in the pain management department.
He trained at the Charlotte Institute of Rehabilitation (now Atrium Health). He is board certified in PM&R as well as Pain Management and has enjoys providing his patients with the utmost care.
He was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor (NET) in August of 2017 and continues to practice medicine while serving as a patient advocate for not only himself but others who deal with this rare form of cancer. He has served as the President of the Board of Directors of The Healing NET Foundation and remains active on their national board. The mission of the Healing Net Foundation is to optimize the care of those with neuroendocrine cancer through the education and collaboration among physicians, health care providers, patients, and caregivers. He will be speaking to the audience about his experiences while living and practicing with this chronic disease.
He has been married to his beautiful wife, Jeannie, for 23 years and has two wonderful daughters, Polly (age 18) and Essie (age 16). He enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and four dogs, exercising, and following his University of Kentucky Wildcats.
