Dr. Laura Malone is a pediatric neurologist and physician scientist at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. She is also an assistant professor of Neurology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Malone is the Co-Director of the Pediatric Post COVID-19 Rehabilitation Clinic, and her research interests focus on neurorehabilitation and assessing outcomes in pediatric neurological disorders. Dr. Malone has contributed to national and international programs and guidance regarding pediatric long COVID. Dr. Malone’s also studies how children with and without brain injury learn new movement patterns, and seeks to use this understanding to develop new rehabilitation therapies that can maximize every child’s motor function.
