Dr. Ethan Rand is an Assistant Professor at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine and physiatrist in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Medicine at Kaiser Permanent Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Rand received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where he studied Human Factors Engineering. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, where he was honored as Intern of the Year. He subsequently completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian, University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell, where he was selected as Chief Resident and honored with the Physician of the Year House Staff Award. He remained at NewYork-Presbyterian beyond residency to complete additional ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine, where he developed further expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and regenerative treatment options.
