Dr. Carmen Terzic is Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic; Rochester, MN. She is Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering. She is Director of the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program and Co-Director of the Rehabilitation Medicine Research Center. She was previously Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has more than 90 publications in the areas of regenerative medicine and stem cell-based cardiac repair, nuclear transport, intracellular calcium hemostasis, cardiovascular rehabilitation, and disparities in health care. Clinical interests include cardiovascular rehabilitation, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal disorders.
