Dr. James McDeavitt is Executive Vice President and Dean of Clinical Affairs at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. In addition, he serves as Chief Clinical Integration Officer for CommonSpirit Health St Luke's Texas, an 18 hospital regional health system. He previously service as Chair of PM&R at Baylor. Prior to moving to Houston, he was with the Carolinas HealthCare System (now Atrium Health) where he served in a variety of clincal and academic leadership roles. In the course of his career, he has served in leadership roles for a variety of organizations, including the American Board of PM&R, CARF, ACCME and the Brain Injury Association.
