Dr. Alison Baker joined Prudential Group Disability in February 2015.  She currently leads the talented physician team in disability. Dr. Baker graduated from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School and completed her PM&R residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA as the chief resident in her final year. Prior to joining Prudential, Dr. Baker was a partner in a successful private practice specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. She took care of many patients with impairments from injuries and illness and understands the disability process with a 360-degree perspective.

Dr. Baker enjoys collaborating with diverse business partners to improve efficiencies and employee experience with a customer focus allowing case managers to make faster decisions during the disability process. She was part of a team that explored, piloted and executed the onboarding of an innovative AI technology vendor to drive efficiencies, cost savings and improves the employee and customer experience. Dr. Baker is excited to increase awareness about the disability process to help patients manage their disability and prevent job loss.
