Scott Simpson, MD, FAAPMR
Dr. Scott Simpson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis and is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. He is the Associate Director of the acute Orthopedic Injury Clinic in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Washington University and the Program Director for the ACGME accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship at Washington University.
Dr. Simpson earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his MD from the University of Rochester. He completed his PM&R residency training at the University of Washington and subsequently completed the ACGME accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. His clinical practice includes the management of acute and chronic spine conditions and a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions in athletes of all ages. He has a particular focus on evaluating and managing acute injuries including fractures in both children and adults.
