Melissa J. Tinney, M.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan and staff physician in PM&R with the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System. Clinical and academic areas include musculoskeletal medicine, caring for those with limb loss and orthotic & prosthetic prescription, and adaptive sports medicine. She serves on the board of University of Michigan Adaptive and Inclusive Sports Experience (UMAISE) adaptive sports program, assists in coaching wheelchair tennis, and serves on the National Medical Team for the National Veterans' Wheelchair Games.
