Scott Klass, MD, Assistant Professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine physician at Dartmouth Health and Dartmouth College. I am originally from New York and attended Ithaca College for undergraduate (B.S. Athletic Training and Exercise Science), and The University of Utah for Graduate School (M.S. Sports Medicine). Following that I worked as an athletic trainer in various capacities for around 5 years. After that I attended The University of Queensland in Australia for medical school. I then did my intern year in internal medicine at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, and residency training at the University of Miami in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I followed that with sports medicine fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia/Cornell tract). I currently work at Dartmouth Health in the Orthopedic Department and am creating a new service line for non-operative care using ultrasound and regenerative medicine. I also am part of the sports medicine team at Dartmouth College, caring for the various teams including sideline work with football (M), ice hockey (M/W), and lacrosse (M/W).
