Mariam completed her undergraduate studies at New York Institute of Technology and her medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in New Jersey, where she was also bornand raised. She completed her residency and sports medicine fellowship at Mount SinaiHospital. When it comes to patient care, Mariam makes each of her patient’s goals her own personal goal as well, working as hard as she can, hand-in-hand with her patient, to attain their goal together. She has a passion for helping people enhance their lives through well-being and fitness. She is the Sports Medicine Fellowship Director, the director of running medicine and works with a lot of runners in New York City and surrounding areas. She is also the chief medical advisor to USA fencing.
