This innovative small group active learning session will focus on the comprehensive management of spasticity. The topic, objectives, and goals of the activity will be presented at the beginning of the session. Participants will then divide into eight small groups to rotate through four interactive spasticity management stations. The four group topics will include (1)Spasticity Management Principles and toxin reconstitution (2) upper limb ultrasound guided botulinum toxin injections, (3) Lower Limba botulinum toxin injections, and (4) comprehensive baclofen pump management.

Learning Objectives:

  • At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to efficiently reconstitute botulinum toxin and describe the pharmacology of sp.
  • At the conclusion of this activity, participants will have increased confidence performing ultrasound guided upper limb and lower limb ultrasound guided botulinum toxin injections.
  • At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to translate comprehensive baclofen pump management into clinical practice.
