With the principles of inclusion and engagement, physiatrists in AAPM&R strive to value diverse group composition, demonstrate mutual respect, and uphold talent based leadership to promote a comprehensive and collaborative environment within the Academy. The tenets of diversity, equity, and inclusion affect physiatrists across all spectrums of clinical practice. This panel discussion will host rising leaders in musculoskeletal and pain medicine to reflect on the impact of DEI in early and mid-career transitions. Whether searching for a job out of training, contemplating career shifts, or evaluating new leadership opportunities, this session will encourage open dialogue the importance of advancing diversity and inclusion across the musculoskeletal, pain, and spine rehabilitation practice areas.
